Michigan Tech distance learning offers:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) through the Mechanical
Engineering-Engineering Mechanics department. The BSE degree
via distance learning is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation
Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology
(ABET). The BSE program is not admitting new students at this
time (June 2006).
Design Engineering Certificate (DEC) Program is designed to significantly enhance the skill base of industrial
designers and engineers.
Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering is unique in that it offers an opportunity for technical employees to earn a work-based
research degree.
Off-Campus Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering program is
focused on creating technical experts in areas of interest to
the student's employer
