Abbie Maki earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech in 1948. He spent three years in the gas turbine division of General Electric, then four years on the staff of the vice president for manufacturing at North American Aviation. 1933-2022 Charles (Chuck) Lamoreaux earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 1956. After graduation, he worked in California for Northrup Industries, Fairchild Instruments, TRW Inc, and Hyper-Air Engineering Company. John Drake is serious about giving back to his alma mater. He attributes his success in large part to "the training and rigor of a Michigan Tech education with its insistence on understanding."
