This years SAE Aero Design
Competition was held in Lakeland, FL. There were 75 teams signed up
between 3 different classes. The class that we competed in was Regular
Class. The goal of Regular Class is to lift as much weight as you can
with your plane. Although we did not do as well as we had hoped for
this year we did gain something much better than a title. We increased
our understanding of the competition and the design process for
aircraft. We learned a lot that we can use in the future to do even
better.
