This summer Michigan Tech will have hosted 1200 seventh-twelfth grade students on campus for 1-4 weeks of hands on programming. 53% of the pre-college students are female, about 40% are otherwise underrepresented in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields. The support of the academic departments on campus is what makes these programs possible.

These photos are of students who selected the mechanical engineering explorations, many other engineering and science fields are available.
