Frank Agosti joined Detroit Edison as a student engineer in 1957, earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech in 1958, and returned to the company full-time. Agosti progressed upward through a number of engineering and management posts at Edison's coal-fired power plants and was responsible for the start-up of the Monroe power plant.
