Colleen L. Jones-Cervantes earned her BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 1983. After graduation Colleen started working at Chevron and has spent her career there in positions of increasing responsibility. She was often the only woman in these positions. Her first position with Chevron was in San Francisco, California as a project engineer in their retail marketing department. . . .

Robert Thresher

Bob Thresher earned a B.S. Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech in 1962. He returned to Michigan Tech after working for the Boeing Company to receive a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1967, followed by a Ph.D. from Colorado State University in 1970. After completing his doctorate, he worked as a Program Manager for the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington D.C. He then spent four years as an assistant professor . . .

John is the retired owner/CEO of Dorsey-Alexander Inc., Cincinnati Controls Inc., and four other motion control, sensor, and machine guarding safety control companies. He started his career as a design engineer for Dynapar Corp, designing digital industrial counters and kinematics control systems.  He and his family moved to Loveland Ohio in 1976 to work with Dorsey-Alexander Inc. as a Sales Engineer and had a hand . . .

Xintan Chang

Xintan Chang '83, '88

Xintan Chang attended Xi'an Mining Institute (XMI), earning his BS degree in Mining Engineering in 1969. Xintan joined Michigan Tech in 1981 as a visiting scholar in the Mining Department, and changed his status to graduate student afterwards.
