Terry Woychowski has done so much for so many and is clearly worthy of being the first recipient of the newly established Humanitarian Award. With his immediate family, Terry founded the Woychowski Charitable Foundation, sponsoring a Michigan Tech Senior Design Team to build a "Human-Powered Hammer Mill." He has formed a partnership with the World Hope organization to manufacture these grain processors and deploy . . .

As a farm boy growing up in northern Michigan, Mike Milosh dreamed of the sea and the adventures of Captain Nemo and Mike Nelson of the TV show Sea Hunt. He even worked on plans for a one-man submarine. So when a real-life adventure presented itself, he didn't have to think twice. The Michigan Tech mechanical engineering alumnus never thought that adventure would involve searching for gold coins and bars 8,000 feet down . . .

Nancy graduated from Michigan Technological University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. She also attended the Ford College Graduate Program. After this, she worked as a Product Design Engineer for over three years and was responsible for design and development of an all-new power tilt, power-telescoping column at Ford Motor Company. John is the retired owner/CEO of Dorsey-Alexander Inc., Cincinnati Controls Inc., and four other motion control, sensor, and machine guarding safety control companies. He started his career as a design engineer for Dynapar Corp, designing digital industrial counters and kinematics control systems.  He and his family moved to Loveland Ohio in 1976 to work with Dorsey-Alexander Inc. as a Sales Engineer and had a hand . . .
