Fred Spagnoletti graduated from Michigan Tech in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Before graduation he accepted a position with Rocketdyne, with whom he had interviewed while at Tech. His first assignment was at their test site in the Santa Susana mountains northwest of Los Angeles on the turbo pump for the F-1 rocket engine. This was the engine on the Apollo program Saturn V main booster . . .

1933-2022 Charles (Chuck) Lamoreaux earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 1956. After graduation, he worked in California for Northrup Industries, Fairchild Instruments, TRW Inc, and Hyper-Air Engineering Company. In 1965, Chuck and his wife, Gayle, started American Bristol Industries Inc. The company manufactures high and low pressure air and gas systems, and air purification . . .

Gerald Haycock

Gerald Haycock '68

Jerry Haycock earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech in 1968 and started as a Development Engineer for the Detroit Diesel Division of General Motors. In 1971 he joined Ford Motor Company as an Emission Development Engineer and has held various supervisory and management positions in the powertrain area.
