Tech. today reports on the our work related to GPU accelerated ABM
simulation
Summer 08
- Dr. D'Souza was awarded the 2008 ASME Computers and Information in
Engineering Young Engineer Award for his agent-based modeling research
- Dr. D'Souza presented a paper on the GPU based
ABM simulation of Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (SIRS) at the ASME CIE
Conference
- The lab has a grant of $100,000 from the NSF for ABM
simulations on GPUs. We are now actively looking for GRA(s)
- Mikola Lysenko graduated and is now a grad student at Wisconsin
Madison
- Ryan Richards presented his first paper at the SWARM Fest conference
- Dr. D'Souza was an invited speaker at the SWARM Fest conference
- Mikola's paper on GPU based machinability accepted at JCISE
- Mikola's paper on ABM Simulation on GPUs is accepted at JASSS

- Our
first paper on mega-scale agent-based model simulations on the GPU was
