Dr. Mohan Rao
is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering
at Michigan Technological
University , 1400 Townsend Drive, Houghton, MI 49931, U.S.A.
Since joining the Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Mechanics Department
in 1988, Professor Rao has been pursuing research and
teaching in the following areas:

Rao's research projects have been financially
sponsored by the National Science Foundation, The State of Michigan, Ford Motor
Company, General Motors, Daimler-Chrysler, Volvo-Korea, Caterpillar, John
Deere, U.S. Army Research Lab, etc.
He has
