Progress Memo
Progress reports in a memo format for are frequently used to keep supervisors aware of the progress of a team project. In Technical and Scientific Communication I learned what a progress memo should consist of. The first thing is a general over view of what the project is in order to remind the read of the project. If the project is based on a timeline, a timeline should be included in the memo. Memos should include what progress has been made in the project and focus on the progress since the last time it was reported. The memos should conclude with the next steps that will be taken in the project. These components were demonstrated in the memo written during the updating of the Partner manual. A single team member frequently writes progress memos but reflect on the entire team's progress.

Project Report
Project Reports are typically written at the conclusion of a team project. They give the opportunity to reflect on the performance of the team and each member's strengths and weaknesses. During the writing of our team project report for the updating of the Partner manual I learned the hardest part is matching the writing styles of different people to have a consistent document. By working on our team project report I was able to find strategies to use when integrating different people's writing styles.
