The results of the Winter Baja Competition are as follows:

1st: University of Wisconsin -Stout
2nd: Sanilac Career Center
3rd: Northern Michigan University
4th: MTU
5th: University of Iowa

Big Air Winner: University of Wisconsin -Stout

Here are some details about the race:

The race was held in Lake Linden with their generous support, financially supported in part by the College of Engineering. Admission was Free.
Announcer/DJ played rock music all through the race. Approximately 300 Meter motocross track was built out of snow, featuring a big air jump, moguls, whoops, and a table top. Results were based on total number of laps between 2 90min races. Results of Big Air based on highest/longest jump. Almost all teams damaged their cars, but were able to make emergency repairs in the pits and keep their car in the race. Top speed of Baja cars on track approx. 25mph. Max height of cars off jump approx. 6 ft.

Many people on the Baja team put a lot of work into making this thing happen, and it was well worth it. Teams came from all over the
Midwest to race with us in the snow. Everybody had a blast, and most importantly, everybody learned.
