MEEM 3000 students launch instrumented rockets during the final laboratory experiment of the semester. The rocket nose cones contain acclerometers and data loggers to record trajectory information. The students retrieve the rockets, download the data, and analyze how high/fast/long their vehicle flew. The findings are compared with predictions calculated in earlier lab exercises.
