The MnIT research group was started in the summer of 2005. The Microfluidics and Interfacial Transport (MnIT) research team is focused on two phase flow in microsystems, fuel cells, evaporation and condensation in low gravity, etc.
We are currently working on a project sponsored by the Department of Energy (DOE). We are partnered with Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and General Motors. The project is a fuel cell initiative meant to promote the development of fuel cells mainly for automotive purposes. The project started in March 2007 and is a three year project.
