Colleen L. Jones-Cervantes earned her BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 1983. After graduation Colleen started working at Chevron and has spent her career there in positions of increasing responsibility. She was often the only woman in these positions. Her first position with Chevron was in San Francisco, California as a project engineer in their retail marketing department. . . .

Sheryl is currently Professor of Engineering Education at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio. She is currently President of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). Prior to her current appointment she was Professor of Engineering Education from 2015-2017 and Professor of Teaching and Learning from 2014-2015, both at The Ohio State University. Camiel Thorrez graduated from Michigan Tech with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1970. In 1970 he served a one year, apprenticeship in Tool Engineering, in 1972 became General Manager of C. Thorrez Industries-Concord, and in 1988 he became President of C. Thorrez Industries-Jackson. He received the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award in 1975 and was a member of the College of Engineering Industrial Advisory Board. . . .

Sabina Houle '85, '87

Sabina is a three-time graduate of Michigan Tech. She received her BS in Chemical Engineering in 1985 then two master’s degrees, in Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, in 1987. She also received a German translating certificate from the Gunter Institute.
