John Drake
'64, '69John Drake is serious about giving back to his alma mater. He attributes his success in large part to "the training and rigor of a Michigan Tech education with its insistence on understanding." Drake earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1964 and a master’s in business administration in 1969. Susan Jesse
'81Susan received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan Tech in 1981. After graduation she accepted a position with General Motors Corporation. In 1982, Susan left GM and went to work for Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas. She stayed with TI from 1982 to 1988 and during this time worked as Deputy Program Manager, Lead Mechanical Engineer, and Mechanical Design Engineer for various Fire Control . . .

Maurice Taylor '68
Maurice "Morry" M. Taylor (BSME ’68) was first employed by General Motors as a mechanical engineer in Saginaw. A few years later he joined Morweld Steel Products and, in 1972, became part owner of the American Steel Impact Corp. in Detroit. Then, in 1974, he started Maurice Taylor amp; Associates and was a representative for steel products manufacturers. In 1983, Morry became President/CEO of CanAM Industries. . . .
