Why did you choose Michigan Tech? My parents are both from the east end of the UP and I spent a lot of time visiting "the yoop" . During my childhood. I knew I wanted to be an engineer since a young age, and after visiting Tech during a summer family camping trip in 7th grade I knew where I was supposed to be. Why did you choose Michigan Tech? Academic reputation, size, location How well did Michigan Tech prepare you for your career? I felt well-prepared to take on the different challenges that arise in my daily work. While learning certainly doesn't end after school, my formal education gave me the confidence that I could handle whatever was thrown at me. What was your first job after graduation and how has your career . . .

After graduating from Tech in 1995, Nathalie held her first job within the automotive industry, where she traveled to auto plants installing laser cameras as "eyes" for robots that installed windshields, back windows and roofs for multiple OEMs. In 2000, she entered into the energy industry as a field tech installing hydrogen fuel cell engines into demo cars. Fred Mitchell earned a bachelor of science degree from Michigan Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 1961. During his 31 - year career with Boeing, Fred Mitchell has held numerous positions within the company.
