For 2005 alumnus Joe Berger (pronounced Bur-jur), who earned his bachelor's degree with a 3.8 grade point average in mechanical engineering, this was not the case. His career started on the field - playing in the National Football League. There are plenty of twists and turns on Berger's road to being a pro football . . .

Rose Koronkiewicz

Rose Koronkiewicz '81

A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering was awarded to Rose from Michigan Technological University in 1981. She also received a Master of Pastoral Studies at Loyola University (New Orleans) in 1989 and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 1996.
