About the CAEL

The CAEL provides state-of-the-art computing facilities for undergraduate students. The CAEL is made up of the undergraduate computer labs in the Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering departments. The main labs in the ME-EM have an aquatic theme and is called the fishbowl because of the glass surrounding the labs on three sides.

Hardware-The CAEL is home to a mix Sun workstations and Pentium 4 PCs. The CAEL also provides scanners, printers, and equipment to check out for its users.

Software-The CAEL has a wide range of software, including engineering, mathematics, productivity, multimedia, and Web applications.
