Susan received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan Tech in 1981. After graduation she accepted a position with General Motors Corporation. In 1982, Susan left GM and went to work for Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas. She stayed with TI from 1982 to 1988 and during this time worked as Deputy Program Manager, Lead Mechanical Engineer, and Mechanical Design Engineer for various Fire Control . . .

Stephen Williams earned his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1986 from Michigan Tech. Steve came to Michigan Tech from Cadillac, MI after he graduated from Cadillac High School in 1982.  He went on to earn a MBA degree in Finance and Marketing in 1992 and a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1996, both from Wayne State University. After graduation from Michigan Tech, Steve began his career in his hometown . . .

Timothy Coffield

Timothy Coffield '84

Timothy P. Coffield earned his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, with high honors, from Michigan Technological University in 1984. He has also completed a business degree from University of Colorado.  After graduating from Michigan Tech, Tim went to work as a research engineer for five years at IBM Research in Rochester, MN.  Following that he was the principal engineer amp; business group manager at Cacade . . .
