1. General Education: Approved list of Distribution courses and requirements is available in the ME-EM Advising Center

2. Technical electives: Approved list of 2008-2009 technical electives (link) or is available in the ME-EM Advising Center

3. Engineering I: ENG1001 (2 credits) plus ENG1100 (2 credits) is equivalent to ENG1101 (3 credits).

4. Math: The Math Department teaches MA2321 accelerated in the first half of a given semester and MA3521 accelerated in the last half of the semester (i.e., register for both MA2321 and MA3521 in the same semester). MA2320 and MA3520 are offered as semester long courses for those students needing only one of these courses in a given semester.

5. Enterprise modules: Choose from the following one credit modules: ENT3954, ENT3956, ENT3958, ENT3961, ENT3962, ENT3963, ENT3964, ENT3971, ENT3972, ENT3973, ENT3974, ENT3975, ENT4951, or ENT4954. ENT2950, ENT2960 and ENT4961 may be substituted by filing a petition with the ME Advising Center. The minimum degree requirement of 127 credits includes double-listing of ENT2961 and ENT2962 as General Education Distribution credits. Without double-listing, the minimum requirement is 130 credits.

6. Co-curricular Activities: Three units (or six half units) are required for graduation. These hours will be included as “earned hours,” but will not be included in the “GPA hours.” For a list of co-curricular courses see the Undergraduate Catalog or see http://www.admin.mtu.edu/em/students/plan/dist_courses.pdf

7. Pre-requisite courses are noted by an arrow. The pre-requisite course must be successfully completed prior to taking the subsequent course. Concurrent pre-requisites are noted by a ‘C’ next to the arrow and can be taken at the same time.

8. Co-requisite courses are courses that must be taken together.
